90 One Year Countdown to Reunion 2010! Frank Jiang provided sad news that “Eddie” Toh Wei Chee passed away in March 2008. He was on the London Program in Spring 1989 with a group that included Mark Malloy, Dorothy Kozak, and others. At the time of this death, he was working for Hill Knowlton in Singapore, but he spent the bulk of his working life as a journalist and eventually as senior editor of the Business Times in Singapore. Toh wrote a political/economic blog called Sophie's World, which was read by policy makers and even prime ministers in Asia (http://sophiesworld-sophiesworld.blogspot.com/). He is survived by his wife, Linda Goh. Besides Toh, three more classmates have been added to the “In Memoriam” section of the Class of 1990 website. They are: Rick Macrina, Scottie Groeschner, and Terrence Hipskind. During the 2010 Reunion, we would like to honor all of our deceased classmates with pictures, stories, and other memories that will be available to you to browse through. Please mark your calendars for June 3 - 6, 2010. Come as you are 40-somethings – no tips, tucks, botox, or hair plugs required! The Reunion Committee is hard at work lining up top “talent”, such as Lou Holtz as our guest dinner speaker, Fr. Ted celebrating our Class Mass ("the Good Lord willing…" in his words), and other fun activities. Be on the lookout for details over the coming months on Reunion and event schedules.
