Back to Campus
Sadly, Tim Fagan’s father, Christopher Fagan ’59, passed away last summer, which was announced in the last issue of Notre Dame Magazine. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tim and his family. Unfortunately, Tim was mistakenly also included in the list of deceased alumni, prompting many calls and emails from friends. Tim reports that news of his death has been greatly exaggerated, but that Maureen (Albrich) appreciates all the flowers that have been arriving at the house! Glad to have you back, Tim! Also, Aisling (Rigney) Fearon and her husband Rick welcomed son and future Domer Richard on October 6, 2006. Rich joins big sister Maggie (age 2). Lynn & Tom Tomasula are planning a trip to China this summer to adopt a new baby. I know they have been pursuing this for some time, so we wish Lynn & Tom the best of luck. Classmates who hit campus for late season home games included Phil Kraker, Jim Marks, Chris "Duke" Sturgis, Pat Bero, Tom Browne, Patrick Olmstead, and Rob Micek at North Carolina. At Army, Phil Kraker, Patrick Olmstead, Mike Martini, Tony Troup, Jean (Van Brackel) Ward, and myself. And for UCLA, Brian O'Keefe, John Grieco, Michele Feick Ryan, Phil & Molly (Mahoney) Kraker, Julia & Patrick Olmstead, and John McAlearney. Many thanks to Carolyn Brennan, who after almost 15 years has decided to take a break from keeping us up to date and our class news current. In passing the baton she wrote, “I just want to say thanks. Writing the column has been fun and I’ve enjoyed hearing from so many classmates over the years. Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars.”. I look forward to hearing from all of you with your news and adventures, and please be sure to keep your directory information up to date at https://irishonline.nd.edu/.
