Summer 2007

Jobs and Additions

Timothy Kuehl was promoted to Partner at the private equity investment firm Norwest Equity Partners.  Tim joined NEP in 1998 and is responsible for evaluating potential investments, sourcing acquisition opportunities, coordinating due diligence and supporting the structuring, negotiating and closing of the firm's buyout activities.  Tim currently serves on the board of directors at Gaymar Industries, Lindstrom Metric and Production Services Associates.  St. Ed's alum John Farley welcomed home his new son, Paul Francis Farley.  Christine gave birth on Nov. 8th.  Paul joins his older brother Jude (2) and with any luck, Paul will soon be able to sing the Victory March as well as his big brother does.  John and Christine live in Derry NH.  Chris is a pediatrician in Manchester NH while John is an Assistant US Attorney in Concord NH.  John’s work involves everything from prosecuting health care providers who defraud Medicare to enforcing the Americans with Disabilities Act.  John says they love New Hampshire, especially as the presidential election approaches.  John added, “Pretty soon, you won't be able to go into a diner or walk down the street without being accosted by a candidate begging for your support.”   Amy (Weber) and Ken Dice '87 welcomed Kenny IV on June 5th, 2006.  He joins sister Catie who turned two in December.  Kenny kicked off a string of babies who were born to her BP "roommates" within nine months: Aisling (Rigney) Fearon (baby Rick), Mary (Kellerman) Kleb (baby Jack), Karen (Croteau) Simoncic (baby Johnny), Rachel (Dougherty) Hendricks (baby Lily Elizabeth). Not to be left out, Pam (Zhulkie) Stein and her husband, Will, are the proud parents of Claire Elizabeth AND Henry William born on May 4th.   Pam, an immigration lawyer and Partner with Faegre & Benson in Minneapolis, was working right up until the finish (no surprise to anyone who knows Pam) and reminded us all that we may want to think twice about "letting our babies grow up to be lawyers!"  Amy says they’re already looking forward to JPW 2027!
